Mission and strategic priorities for the development of the department
Mission - To become the best in training personnel in the field of light industry, ensuring a high level of professional competence of trained bachelors and masters.
The strategic goal of the department for the period up to 2025 is to fulfill the mission of the leading scientific, research, educational, methodological center in the field of technical sciences for the preparation of bachelors and masters for light industry, which is one of the leading departments of the university.
In the period from 2014 to 2020 the staff of the department showed high activity in improving the skills of teaching staff and UVP, improving the quality of training, improving the educational process, conducting research work, joint design developments with students with access to the International and Republican levels, organizing students for participation in competitions and fashion festivals, as well as in all other aspects and activities of the department.
The Department of TIPP has contracts with the following enterprises:
LLC "Aziyar", SP "E-linemoda", PE "Bermet", SP "Nazik", LLC "D&G", LLC "Russol", LLC "Nissi", LLC "City-B", LLC "Credo-Fashion", PE "Zorin", LLC "Olga classic", Atelier "Zhyldyz", etc., and also closely cooperates with the Association "Legprom" and "Soyuztextil" of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Work is being carried out on the development of international academic mobility of teachers, researchers and students, both in the near and far abroad. Teachers are successfully upgrading their qualifications at the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences in Zwickau (Germany), as well as students of the Textile and Leather Technology profile are sent for monthly and semester training.
In recent years, academic mobility has been intensified with the Almaty Technological University (ATU), the exchange of students during academic and industrial practice.
