As the economy of the Republic is in need, it highlights the model of continuous professional education with the aim of ensuring continuity of the levels of education in the VE and HME of the KR "college-university".Graduates of the college have the opportunity to continue their studies in higher education institutions on an accelerated program. In this regard, the educational process is aimed at in-depth development of subjects according to the programs developed by the college teachers together with the teachers of the profile departments of the KSTU in accordance with the new SES VE KR, based on the modular-competence approach. Training programs for mid-level specialists are coordinated with the profile departments of KSTU and employers, which makes it possible to bring vocational training of graduates and vocational qualification requirements of employers in line. Polytechnic College of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after  I. Razakova, formerly the Department of Secondary Vocational Education (hereafter the Polytechnic College of KSTU) was established in KSTU by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 403/1 of 15.06.2000 on the basis of the law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Education". Instructions of the head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 18-1168 of 06.06.2000 and the order of the KTU No. 78 dated July 29, 2000. The first director of DVE - Polytechnic College of KSTU was Doctor of Engineering Science, Professor Imankulova A.S, then she acted as the Director of A.S Satarova, and at present the head of the College is Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Turusbekova N.K. 

    The Polytechnic College of KSTU carries out its activity on the basis of the law of the KR "On Education", the normative provisions of the Ministry of Education and Science of the KR, the regulations of the KSTU and the college, the Charter of the KSTU and the College Statute, approved by the decision of the Academic Council of KSTU (Minutes No. 7 of March 31, 2011), order Rector of KSTU (Minutes No. 1/61 of April 24, 2013) and passed the re-registration on May 24, 2013 (certificate No. ГПЮ 0008017).

     The college is a structural subdivision of KSTU. I. Razzakova with the status of a legal entity; carries out educational activities in the sphere of secondary vocational education, produces specialists for the sphere of life and services.

     The founder of the Polytechnic College of KSTU is the Kyrgyz State Technical University. I. Razzakova. The college was established in 2000 as the Department of Secondary Vocational Education of the Kyrgyz State Technical University. I. Razakova:

  • In 2000, 3 specialties were opened: "Maintenance and repair of radio electronic equipment" (TOR), "Design and technology of garments" (KTSHI), "Hairdressing and decorative cosmetics" (PI). The staff consisted of 2 full-time teachers and a total of 45 students were trained on the basis of the 11th grade.

  • In 2002, the first issue of 32 students in the specialties "TOR" -10 people, "KTSHI" -12 people, "PI" -10 people was held.

  • In 2003 a new specialty was opened: "Design and technology of fur garments and hats"

      By that time the cadre staff had reached 11 full-time teachers.

  • In 2005, in accordance with the new educational standards, the specialties were renamed "Modeling and Design of Garments", "Hairdressing Art", "Modeling and Designing of Fur Products". In turn, new curricula were introduced.

  •  In 2010, for the first time, a set was set up on the basis of the 9th grade of the secondary school, and a new specialty, "Power Supply (by industry)", was opened.

  • In 2013, the initial abbreviation Department of secondary vocational education was renamed into the current name - Polytechnic College KSTU. I. Razzakova.

  • In 2013, specialties: 190604 "Maintenance and repair of road transport"; 190701 «Organization of transportations and management on transport (by types of transport except air transport)» ; 261203 "Polygraphic production"; 210402 «Means of communication with mobile objects»; 210406 ​​"Communication networks and switching systems".

  • In 2015, another 8 specialties were opened: 140210 "Hydroelectric power plants"; 140206 "Electric stations, networks and systems"; 140603 "Electric Machines and Apparatuses"; 230110 "Maintenance of computer facilities and computer networks"; 260901 "Technologies of garments"; 280105 "Protection of Emergency Situations"; 150413 "Technical operation of equipment in trade and public catering"; 151001 "Technology of Mechanical Engineering".

         In connection with changes in the demand for specialists in the labor market and increased competition in the market of educational services, the college is expanding its work on the opening of new specialties.
