The faculty trains specialists in the following areas: "Electric power and electrical engineering", "Heat power engineering and heat engineering" and "Technospheric safety" in 11 bachelor's educational programs and 9 master's educational programs.
The faculty has 128 teachers, including 9 doctors of sciences and about 40 candidates of sciences. The number of students enrolled in the full-time and distant departments is more than 1900, of which 1800 people study in the bachelor's degree, 114 in the magistracy, and 16 graduate students in the postgraduate course.
